wot is ur secret
Also, I used to often read stimuli several times, which cost me precious time,
but developing a good speed and improving short-term memory (RC tenets) caused me to practically fly through questions.
I was pleasantly surprised to finish in 17 minutes. Yet, with weeks of drilling passages, RC still remains a thorn in my side...

Legit, if my RC were consistently like -2/-1 I would rock this test.dj9i27 wrote:I actually enjoyed doing RC today, what... what is happening right now.

I think once I started thinking of RC like one of those old LR question types where they had the fat stimuli and then the two question stems attached, it made RC way easier. For me I think LR just seemed daunting and that in of itself hurt my ability to do RC.

I still haven't even hit my historic PT high yet in this round of studying. It's weird though because I feel like I have a stronger grasp on the material regardless.

That's true and putting in 2-3 hours on the weekdays and and 5-6 (depending on how much I need to review on Pt's) doesn't hurt either. Also before the test look yourself in the mirror and shout positive things at yourself. Legit, studies show stuff like that builds confidence.dj9i27 wrote:you good homie, a month is still a lot of time to make significant improvements imo. I have no idea, at first when I was doing them, I really really didn't like doing them and had a hard time getting through them. But I guess I just made it habit to do them on certain times on certain days and as I started developing those habits it became easier to get through Pt'samta wrote:yo fam. how y'all get amped up for PTs after work? like i just feel sluggish after work which shows in later sections.
That and sometimes I pick a section to be excited for, like if i've been seeing some improvement on RC the past week I get excited to see that improvement on the test.

Not sure if it's an option, but you're probably not giving yourself a fair chance if you're doing them in the evening or at night after working all day. There was some guy on here who had to teach everyday and he made himself get up at like 5am everyday to do a PT.fips tedora wrote:chug a bunch of water right beforeamta wrote:yo fam. how y'all get amped up for PTs after work? like i just feel sluggish after work which shows in later sections.
I feel much more confident and clear-minded if I PT fresh in the morning, not having had much stimulation or exertion.
Other than that, coffee.

i feel better in the morning, but im all about PT deflation and being pleasantly surprised on December 3rd. Also getting up at 5am is unrealistic for me personally.harveybirdman502 wrote:Not sure if it's an option, but you're probably not giving yourself a fair chance if you're doing them in the evening or at night after working all day.
