Hehe! Winters in the northeast suck, but you get used to it. It makes you really appreciate whatever Spring and Summer you get.

Congrats. That's awesome. I just did 1, 2 and 4. Did the LG section seem unusually easy? Only one that tripped me up was the last Q and even that seemed relatively easy. I was just pressed for time.

I feel you on RC. That last passage was an absolute nightmare. I read it again after the test and was still confounded.

Just a PSA, don't forget to take your meds before/during PTs if you have any kind of mental illness. My afternoon alert went off right as the timer buzzed for RC so I forgot it and felt like I was jumping out of my skin by the end of 2. Missed a couple questions that I really shouldn't have missed as a result.

I actually had the most trouble on the first passage, but I think it was because I just not mentally ready since RC was the first section. I agree that the LG was unusually easy. I double checked nearly all my answers and finished under 30 minutes.

Yoooooo the second LR in the second super prep PT is legit hard AF first time I've gone -5 LR in a long time. Still pulled a 172 though and I guess the learning experience is better if I get more incorrect. Also the one to one curve is super brutal on that test.

LR has always been my weakest section, which sucks because it's the bulk of the test. I've been using 7sage to study for LR but apparently it hasn't helped. Just took PT 75 and missed 10 in the first LR section alone. Ugh.

LR takes a lot of practice. I used to miss like 9/10 on an LR section as well, and now I can go like -2/-4 on an LR section.

Literally drill by q type and do sections over and over again. What I've started to do was that the questions that gave me a hard time even during blind review, I have a word document with a list of questions from all previous LR sections that I've done that gave me trouble and I will go back and do them all untimed and just break down the stimulus word by word again.

Also if you do timed LR sections, use a stopwatch and just let the timer keep going if you pass 35 mins. This will help you see how many questions you usually have left over after 35 mins and with more sections you can start adjusting your speed and implementing some skipping strategies,etc.

Proofreading someone's paper. It includes the phrase "people from different nationalities." Tempted to correct it to "people of different nationalities," but I am not completely sure if from nationalities is wrong. Doesn't help that Google has a very close number of results for both.

Either I am wrong, or it is a common mistake.

I believe you're technically right, though the other way is probably working its way into common usage.

I don't like when people use "from" in these types of descriptions though. It just reads weird. "From New Jersey" or "From a black family" are appropriate obviously. "From different races and nationalities" just sounds like poor grammar. Former journalist here.

Makes sense harsh curve+odd ball game probably made a lot of people freak out and cancel their score, I honestly should have. Lol the game was the very last thing on my test and during the writing portion it was the only thing I could think about

I'd admire that dedication though. What's your typical schedule for one of those 8 hour study sessions? How do you organize your time and priorities?

I'm just trying to sleep more and get up earlier so I can run and read later on in the day. Goon Squad is aight so far btw.

I feel you man, some days (yesterday) I'll go 8 hours and feel like a knowledge tank, others like today I feel lazy as well. Perhaps the LSAC will be gracious and give us a nicer test in December... perhaps.
