Even when I'm not 100% mentally there, the LSAT still creeps its way into my head.Barack O'Drama wrote:Mikey wrote:I'm watching tv all hungover and shit. I see a commercial for listerine and they said they did a study and the first thing that popped in my mind was an LSAT flaw.

It's amazing how much slowing down helps. I usually finish LR with about 3-4 minutes, which I use to go back to any difficult questions (mostly in the late 20s, since those are usually the hardest.) Not gonna lie, popping a xanax really helped. How you're feeling is really critical. The more sleep I get the night before, and particularly if I exercised that day, the better I do on the next day's PT.dj9i27 wrote:i picked up the trainer post September, before was just kind of doing my own thing for RC but his strategy I liked a lot. timing has never been an issue for me, i normally finish LR with 8 minutes to spare but when I slow down I get more answers right. for me it's all about feeling, in September I felt like shit and my score reflected it felt good then and got a decent result.harveybirdman502 wrote:Nice. Congratulations. What helped you the most? I'm trying to get on your level.dj9i27 wrote:Took my second PT since September today. 180 on PT62, pretty happy with this but I didn't add an experimental in the middle like I normally do so that could have something to do with it. Not letting off the gas until December 4th though
Starting the Trainer again tomorrow for sure. I definitely need to fill in the gaps with RC too.
Got any advice for retaining the minutiae of some of these tougher RC passages? It's really difficult for me to remember all of the technical terminology and how it's used in the passage once I get to the questions.
Congrats again on your score. That's really amazing. Keep it up. Don't get in a rumble like the dude in your avatar.

It won't be released for a few more weeks when the PT itself is released to the public.connordalto wrote:Yeah it took about 6 minutes for me just to wrap my head around the game and then I just tried to brute force my way through a couple setups, still went -3 on it though. I wanna try and be prepared for whatever LSAC throws our way for dec.Greenteachurro wrote:They're just different, PT 72 is really easy if you spend sometime making inferences upfront and then viruses was this really funky double layer sequencing game essentially.dj9i27 wrote:Did you think the virus game was easier than PT 72?jagerbom79 wrote:That game I remember being super tough, but not like the virus gameconnordalto wrote:I just did pt 72 games- has anybody done game 4 (employees raw materials)? Got into it with 15 minutes and it still wrecked me.

Lmao same! Ive gone out with friends a few times after studying a full day of LSAT and they are like you are aggressively using LSAT to tell me my logic is flawed etc.Mikey wrote:True trueBarack O'Drama wrote:Dude, I know right, WTF!? When you tell your friends that the LSAT has logic games and they say "you play games on the LSAT? You better get into Harvard"Barack O'Drama wrote:jagerbom79 wrote:Lmao same! I'm in a similar boat. Impossible aint impossible at all. I know someone at YHS w/ those credentials.dj9i27 wrote:lol, I've seriously got a better chance at hitting it big in Vegas than Havard. you find a 3.4 non urm and I'll be rather shocked.jagerbom79 wrote:*Prayer Hands* 4 HLSBarack O'Drama wrote:dj9i27 wrote:Mikey, introduce them to this fresh hell they aren't exposed to yet.

I would chose H at sticker. Whether its completely justified or not, to me it is 100% worthit and something Ive always wanted to do.dj9i27 wrote:real question, would you take harvard at sticker or like michigan/northwestern at full ride. I'd choose the latter, no debt makes everything really nice in my eyes.jagerbom79 wrote:I'm in a similar boat. Impossible aint impossible at all. Yeah cambridge is cool af. I don't think that you can argue that you are right or I am. its all on how we value debt. The debt doesn't scare me and I eprsonally weigh the experience and education at HLS over the debt. But, yeah debt does suck. on the same token, T6 is prob really the only place where I would make a decision excluding debt. Outside of that, I would absolutely consider it and I recognize some schools arent as worthit to take on debt. Also, this is coming from someone who would have to take on the debt...aka.. im not some trust fund baby hahahdj9i27 wrote:
i could see it, I love cambridge and everything about massachusetts to be honest but that debt is so daunting. if everything was equal I'd chose harvard over any school, unfortunately not the game of law school admissions.

Yeah, I hear that. If you want big law/firm job, maybe a T10 with a good scholarship is the way to go.
I want H/Y degree for a few reasons, among them the alumni network. 200k does sound like a metric fuckton of money though!
