How does your inhouse department handle garnishments

Hi all,

I'm inhouse at probably what constitutes a mid-size public company and our legal department receives a bunch of garnishment notices pertaining to our hourly employees. Currently, I always review the garnishments and then forward them to our payroll department, but it is becoming a hassle with the quantity, and the issues that arise when months later we receive something saying the garnishment was not responded to. I wanted to see if other companies handle garnishment differently, or if there is a way to streamline this so that payroll receives the garnishments directly. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
