How does scheduling work for the first year of law school? Is your schedule made for you or can you create your own schedule as in UG? I have thoroughly inspected the websites for the schools I have been admitted to and cannot find anything about this. Thanks!

For most schools your schedule will be assigned and you will have the same schedule as all the other 1Ls in your section of ~100 students.

can someone post an example of their 1L schedule? Are classes set up like Mon/Wed/Fri, or Tue/Thur, or are they five days a week? I know every school doesn't do this the same way but I would appreciate some examples.

I think you can find schedules on most schools' "current students" websites, if you poke around a little bit. Here's Pitt's first year schedule:

ABA recommends a 5 day a week schedule, at least for 1L. Not all do it, but I think its fairly standard.
My 1L schedule looked something like this for the fall:
Monday 850-11, 130-3
Tues 850-11, 130-3
Wed 850-11, 130-430
Thurs 10-12
Fri 130-3
