Bar Reciprocity

I found this site that shows bar reciprocity across the US.

http://juristech.com/chart.html

In this chart, it shows that PA reciprocates with a large number of states including VA.

My question is this ... does this mean that a VA Bar member may practice law in PA as soon as they are admitted in VA or does it mean they need not take the PA bar exam but still need to petition for admission to the PA Bar?

Thanks.

Some of these reciprocity agreements (not necessarily PA'a) also include an ethics class/test or other requirements.

Interesting; according to that website, IL allows for WI reciprocity, which is very surprising to me.
Edit: New York, as well.

I wonder if that includes diploma privledge WI people. Would certainly make life easier.

also...some states, like Maine, require that you have worked as an attorney in another state for a certain period of time before waiving you in.

It doesn't include diploma privilege. U Wisc. grads take the IL bar if they're practicing in IL.
