Top Law Schools

Unless it's radically different for LLMs (and based on the LLMs I know, I don't think it is), specialization rankings are meaningless. No one in the country thinks that Loyola is a better school because it focuses on "practical lawyering experience" except the Loyola admissions office.

Literally none of that matters. You should talk to LLM students about how easy it is to stay in the US from these schools, but outside of the T14, schools have regional job placement, with varying success at placing in biglaw (the firms that are likely to sponsor your visa). It doesn't matter if the institution is "academic" or "practical", because you're already a lawyer. You're in the US to get an advanced degree, not to do a full course of study.
