how does LSAC handle course repeats like this

Post by lawapplicant2017 » Sun Jul 17, 2016 8:16 pm

I know that LSAC counts every transcript grade and credit, and if you receive an F and an A in a course, they count the F times the credits and the A times the credits. However, if you take a course and receive a B, then retake and receive an A. Will they count A? I understand counting both if you did poorly, but what about situations where you pass and earn almost similar grades?

They count both. You can easily look this stuff up on their website

They count it all, which is absurd, but whatever.

I loved that the classes I took while screwing around in high school held more merit than the grad work I just completed.

LSAC is flawed in almost every way. They need to take lessons from other professions, they could learn a lot from PTCAS.

Thanks guys for the help. Dodint, when you mentioned LSAC counting high school classes - they just count high school classes that count as college credit, right? So if I earned no college credit in high school, those wont be scored, right? Just wanted to ask. Thanks.

Yeah, sorry. I went to my community college the summer before my senior year of high school and a half day my senior year. They didn't ask for nor have my actual high school transcripts. Sorry for the confusion.
