Undergrad Supply Chain Major?

Hi guys! I am an upcoming sophomore studying Supply Chain Management with a minor in International Relations at Rutgers University Business School - New Brunswick. I was just wondering if my major would hurt my chances of being admitted to highly ranked law schools. I understand there is no particular major that admissions look for, but I feel Supply Chain is entirely different(?). I plan to keep my GPA above a 3.8 and will be studying for the LSATs starting this summer so I hope to earn a decent score on that when I actually take it. But even with great numbers, how do you honestly think a Supply Chain major will affect my chances? For those who will be wondering why I am majoring in it, it is because I only plan to go to law school if I get into a good school and my SCM major will allow me to have a back-up with decent job prospects. :D

Jessica Soban told me that supply chain management was looked down upon, but if you can convince your school to rename it to Operations Management then it'll look better. but seriously you should consider switching to something like criminal justice or sociology

edit: not seriously. Supply chain management is actually a great major and is highly employable and u should probs just go work managing supply chains for a few years before applying

Working for a few years then revisiting law school is definitely a good choice. With your SCM degree and good GPA you will be very employable and the work experience will only help your future law school apps (though your LSAT and GPA will matter the most).

So yeah, just to affirm...take it from the piano performance major, your undergrad major doesn't matter.
