Is it normal to have been convinced on going to law school for a few years, and then have doubts when you're 6-12 months out from applying?

Of course. It's a big decision.

There's so many negative posts and blogs about law school and the dismal legal market, can anyone please give me some positive aspects of the law school experience?

1) It's really not nearly as hard as people make it out to be.
2) If you kick ass, you'll end up with a job making a ton of money.
3) From what I hear from people who didn't work during law school, it's like having 3 more years of undergrad, complete with all the social fun.
4) All of the stress is self-made, so if you're good at not stressing yourself out, you should have a good time.

Telling the ladies you go to law school always sends off their PREFTIGE alarm.
