Cumulative, for better or worse. It's what gets reported, so it's what they care about.

Actually, they consider whatever number LSAC spits out after you enter all your info. Which is cumulative.

This used to be discussed mor often, there were several threads that had hunted out schools that (then) claimed to focus on degree GPA, but these list always seemed to be rather short.
