Haven't gotten my NY results yet, but I'm currently doing in-house patent work for a publicly traded company... It's nice. Knew from the start I didn't want the traditional firm experience/life... I'm out of the office at the very latest, 6 and I'm rarely emailed or called on the weekends. Salary isn't as good as a firm, but it's respectable.

I do labor & employment and I think its a great area of practice
