Law school "boot camp"
Starting my 1L this fall and got some ad in the mail giving me a discount for a class put on by Barbri about how to do well for 1L. Cost is $1000 with the discount and it last for 6 days, 8 hours a day. Is it worth it (I'm not doing anything else) or it one of those things that might put me a week ahead but ultimately be worthless.

I was debating the merits of doing something like this. I was checking out BarBri's Law School Preview class, as well.
After some research though...if youre on TLS and do proper research and check out the many guides on here that explain how to do well in law school, you will get free advice that is as good as you will find anywhere. (shoutout to TLS for those kickass guides, I feel well-prepared to start after reading these.
