Vanderbilt JD/MSF worth it?

Vanderbilt is now offering a JD/MSF degree that's completed in three years. Anyone think this degree is worth it? Is there a need for a JD (corporate law) and a master of finance? Or is this a money grab by the school?

A three year JD/MSF certainly constitutes a second look IMHO, but that's about it. Vanderbilt could do really well with a three-year JD/MBA program, but if there's only a tiny bit of positive overlap for the JD/MBA, there's even less for the JD/MSF.

I wouldn't make it a main part of your decision. Your grades will be more important than a joint MSF degree.
