Although I have no inside info, I would not think they would know until the score popped.

Given that retaking in June to sweeten the pot was an advised procedure in the Spivey thread, it seems unlikely to be deterimental.

I don't see why it would affect anything. You obviously consider the school a top choice, and I'm sure they'd love to have you with a higher score. From their perspective, there's probably a decent chance that you only score one point higher, and nothing changes for you, so the school wins. If you do a little better than that, maybe they throw some money at you. If you do much better and go somewhere else, well . . . them's the breaks.
