Does anybody have any experience or information about the level of difficulty in getting a big law job in Los Angeles with a degree from WUSTL?

You'll have more success posting in the WUSTL Recent Grad thread, but it's not easy, mainly because there are not a lot of employers recruiting from LA looking for WUSTL students. You really have to do your own networking and applying to have a chance. I believe the walk-around program last interviewing cycle had maybe 6 firms. It's possible but nowhere near automatic and will require good grades for firms.
