Multiple seat deposits

Post by raetheon » Sat Apr 05, 2014 11:15 pm

If it is not specifically mentioned in either admission or scholarship letter is it possible to put down two initial seat deposits? (Obviously I know I will lose 500$ or whatever it may be)
Should I just ask the schools before doing so, or could simply asking have negative consequences?
Thanks for any advice, and I'd prefer not to answer questions along the line of " why the heck would you want to do that?"

I did it. First deposit didn't matter, second deposit time rolled around and I talked with the schools.

It won't hurt you now, but if you do it later on, be prepared to explain what's going on. The schools won't like it.
