Hey, I'm matriculating next fall, but I'm looking to learn some stuff (passively) in the meanwhile. Any ideas on some substantive but accessible podcasts I can listen to while working out, etc.?

I've always been a fan of the Partially Examined Life. Planet Money and Freakonomics are fun too.

Loller. Some of that law stuff though.
But yes, other podcasts too, if it pleases you.

Ok. How about rap mixtapes? What's your favorite Lil B tape? Or law podcast.

Actually, all the NPR and news-based stuff are pretty good suggestions. Having a basic grasp on economics, like the one offered by Planet Money, can help conceptualize things if you're professor is one of those law and economics types. Acquiring Terry Gross's ability to lead everyone she interviews to catharsis and to feel good about themselves will help you win over the professors that aren't law and economics types.

What would you call the professors that aren't law and economics types?
