Hi,

This is a call out for Canadians who are considering or currently studying law in US. Did you have to file for any VISA to study in the states? And what are some steps that need to be taken in order to work in US after graduation? Does this put a significant barrier in gaining employment?

Thanks in advance for your help! I am very new to this and I can't seem to find a comprehensive guide that applies to Cdns seeking to study in US (not a dual citizen).

Note that: Once in possession of required documents the next step is to apply for your F-1 visa. If you are a Canadian citizen you may stop here as you are visa exempt and may apply for F-1 admission directly at a U.S. port of entry with your I-20 and proof of SEVIS payment.
