Loans - Default determination

Grad Plus loans say I am not eligible if I have a default determination in the last 5 years. If I default but make full payment is that a determination? Or is a default determination only when you negotiate to pay a portion of your debt to settle a default instead of making full payment.

How do you default and still make the full payment? You only default when you refuse to pay...

If you defaulted on anything, secured or unsecured in the last five years, I'd be very surprised if you could get GradPlus loans.

by missing payments and having it sent to a credit agency is it already to late to qualify? I made full payment. The internet was not very helpful with the same terminology, but i will keep you posted

You would probably be best off talking to your loan provider.

Yeah, there's no way we can help you figure this out. Contact your provider.
