Really need advice...should I apply ED to Loyola Law or USD?
I have made up my mind that I would like to attend law school in Southern California, as I love it out there and can see myself living and practicing there. I've already applied to Pepperdine..and am I currently debating whether I should apply early decision to either Loyola or USD as I can apply ED to only one.
My LSAT is approximately 3-4 points below both schools 25% percentile while my GPA is in San Diego's 75% percentile and Loyola's 50% percentile. I have strong softs and attended a top 15 undergrad institution. I have what I consider to be strong letter of recs as well.
I am leaning towards applying ED to loyola since I believe that I have a decent chance of getting into USD not applying with ED.
What do you guys suggest? Consensus seems to be that Loyola has a stronger reputation...given my numbers which one of these two would it make more sense to apply Early Decision?
Thanks

As we all said in your last thread, you need to retake the 153. If you apply ED schools have no incentive to give you money. The cost of these schools will reach around 200k at the sticker price. Meanwhile, both provide you only with a 50% chance of being a lawyer. Why would you take that risk?

None. Retake.
You're obviously smart, don't waste your 3.55 and T10 undergrad on paying sticker at a school that will only give you, at best, a 50% chance of becoming a lawyer.lawschool111 wrote:i am looking to apply at pepperdine, loyola, university of san diego, santa clara

They are all correct, don't go to school this year. I went from a 137 to a 161...just work hard and you can make it happen!

I feel that each board should automatically lock after ten responses with the work "re-take" in them.

I need advice. Should I shoot myself in the face or cut off all of my fingers?
