How bad does a Q drop look on your transcript?

I am considering Q dropping a course because I am afraid that I will fail and I don't want it to kill my GPA. But I am worried about what this will like to law school admissions. Anyone have any input or advice?

What is a Q Drop? That's not a term used at any of the unis with which I'm familiar.

Q-drop is a term used by a few Texas schools to designate a course (greater than one credit) that is dropped after the drop deadline.

As long as a drop is non-punitive, it will have no negative effect.

It looks worse than an A, better than a B or worse

If you get an F for it, I would finish the class obviously

Doing some research, I find that a Q Drop is not considered punitive by the TX unis that use it, and according to some on this board, is not considered punative by LSAC; however, some law schools may cast it a glance, as it were. Here are some past threads which may help a bit:
