Top Law Schools

Hi there,

I have 3 references from 2012 and one from 2013. I haven't applied to law schools previously, and I was wondering if a year-old LOR will be seen negatively by the admissions.

Don't worry. It won't have any negative effect.

I was wondering the same thing as OP. So I don't have to email my recommender and ask them to update the LOR in any way?

This is totally fine. I applied to law school in 2004 and two of my LORs were from 2000 (when I first considered applying to law school and didn't).

My LOR's are all from 2009 and no one cares or has stated they need an up dated one.
