No. I dont want to be a lawyer, this program is intends for those people who wants to study law but do not wish to be practice in law. And i have a great interest in law as I also think a background In law is a leverage in my future career of management.

But I am not sure whethere is it hard to get into USD for this program? I really want to study there.

The MLS makes sense if;

Scenario 1: You are 40 years old, are already well into a pseudo-law-oriented career (i.e, labor relations), and have hit a glass ceiling. All the part time programs in your area 1) suck 2) take four years, and 3) cost way too freaking much.

The MLS takes 26 credits and will be about 1/5 to 1/6 the expense of a part time JD. At this point, you can pick between the MLS and the MPA, but the MLS makes more sense because it actually ties in with your work, and it doesn't cost as much/take as long.

Scenario 2: You're in your 20's, did your undergrad at a foreign school and got your LL.B. in some crazy high distinction, and need a graduate program that will give you a 4.0 so you can go get your doctorate in your home country.

This makes sense because MLSs at many US schools (as with most masters degrees) grade on a 3.0-4.0 scale, which translates over very nicely to a foreign school where masters degrees are not nearly as grade-inflated. You get to kind of dance around the LLM this way.

Other than that, unless the MLS is completely free and you have nothing else you'd rather be doing/should be doing for a year, RUN.

I'd say more like 131, just for spelling "University" wrong in the title.

You need Jesus and Valium, kid. You are the most relentlessly negative presence on this board.
