Top Law Schools

I understand that the waitlist for every law school varies. But can anyone give me an average, or estimate of how many people are usually waitlisted for a law school? Is this pool usually large, as in the hundreds?

I would assume that the bigger the waitlist pool for a law school the better, as it would be more of a safety net in case admitted applicants don't matriculate.

It costs a quarter million dollars for a 41% chance at getting a job as a lawyer AT ALL. Life-ruining debt for worse than a coin-flip's chance? You'd have to be insane.

Fortunately for you, most wait lists are pretty big and difficult to get off of. That's fortunate so you won't have to go to Santa Clara. Take a year off while you retake the LSAT, or don't go to law school. Student loan debt is not dischargable in bankruptcy. So, in the 3/5 chance you don't become a lawyer, you'll be facing literally life crippling debt.
