Work as engineer vs. Work as patent agent?

Student at a state premier school ranked around 10~15 for electrical engineering.
Always wanted to go to law school, never liked math/physics in high school,
but surprisingly find the EE material interesting at college.
Should I study and take the LSAT anyway next year as a 3rd year?
I have decent grades, and all my ECs are EE related.
Basically, my focus should be getting employed immediately right instead of going the K-JD path, since I have a shot at meaningful well paying job straight out of undergrad right? Could/should I try to get to get a patent job instead of a real engineering job if I want to be a lawyer? I remember seeing an IP firm located in DC at my career fair that were looking for EE/CE students for patent agents to go to part time law with tuition reimbursement.
I just want to hear inputs; law school is something I can see myself doing, but definitely only one possibility.
