I'm guessing you probably need to print a lot in law school. Do most people just print from their school's library? Or if they print from home, are there certain kinds of printer best suited to printing out a lot of documents? This might sound like a stupid question but I need to buy a new printer before I go to law school so was just curious if anyone had suggestions.

Most schools give you free printing. Buy whatever you want.

I never print anything, but get a Brother laser printer.

+1. I bought a used one and a recycled toner cartridge for about $80 ($30 for the printer, $50 for the toner). Two years and thousands of pages of LSAT prep stuff later, it runs like new.

God I wish I had free printing. They're even taking away the free Westlaw printers next year. Fucking environment.
