I want to practice Big Law to make $160K. There are much easier and safer ways to print money than law school.

This one is both good and bad. It's good for obvious reasons (I think there are probably many people whoh sincerely want to do it for that reason), but if they aren't aware of the costs and low job prospects, then that person will turn out to be the one needing help possibly!deadpanic wrote:Worst (and most common) is "i want to help people."

I went to law school because I ran out of shitty TLS thread ideas and had to find something else to do. I don't think you are ready yet.

50 year old woman at a T4 and no scholarship taking out loans to pay for all 3.5 years ... because she failed two classes and needed more time to graduate ... Because she wants to help people...
