How much debt would you go into for Vandy?

If you definitely wanted to work in the south (TN/NC/GA).
btw my numbers are 170/3.8ish, so I'd be looking at pretty good scholarships according to LSN, but definitely not a full scholarship
Or should I be shooting higher (T14) even though I'll have to take out more loans? I'm just really afraid of debt

Honestly, it should probably be between Vandy and Duke for you. Follow the money/where you feel most comfortable.

If I were you I'd look at the $ from Duke and Vandy, but also consider full rides at places like Emory, WFU, UNC, GW. The debt is something you should be very concerned about, but given your numbers you will be choosing between T14 with some $ and full rides at places including the above or peer schools.
