Thanks in advance for advice.
bro, you lost.
just kidding, nah this soft is just average joe. it is interesting and probably something you can talk about in interviews or something down the line but you have a fighting chance with your LSAT.

not really. maybe if you win. anyone can run, technically as long as you meet the requirements.

Running and losing? How do you list that on your resume exactly? (just curious)

Eh.. I did better than any other dem in my township, which hasn't elected a dem since the 1980s, and I was very young. But yeah I don't have a ton, was just wondering.
Wasn't hating bro, I am legit curious. Do you list it under professional experience (?) or something? Where do you put it?

It will be a cool thing to talk about in interviews. That's about it.

I ran for my state legislature a couple of years ago as a 20 year old, I didn't win but I out preformed other Independent candidates in similar races in surrounding districts, so I performed relatively well. I feel like it probably helped me get into some schools I wouldn't have otherwise gotten into (I've done really well with my reach schools) and I have to believe it was the reason Case Western offered me their leadership scholarship, when I haven't had any real leadership experience since I was a boy scout. I didn't just put it on my resume though I wrote my personal statement about it. So my advice would be if you want it to help you get into schools focus on it and explain why that experience will make you a good lawyer. Even if anyone can run for office, as an earlier poster pointed out, not everyone does and at a lot of schools you'll probably be the only person applying that cycle who has so it makes you unique.
