this is a dumb question but I gotta know-my undergraduate GPA was a 3.4, which I hear is not great, but I went to really good school, will that help? My dream law program is UNC Chapel Hill, do I basically need to get a 176 on the test to pull that off? I guess what I'm asking is if a 3.4 is really as terrible as I think it is?
thanks!

You need a 163-164 with your GPA.

Aim higher. Your GPA isn't that bad. School won't help, unless its Princeton, MIT, Stanford, etc.

Are you a resident of North Carolina? If not, you might want to shoot a little higher than 163-164 to really feel secure. UNC is one of my top choices too, and I've been led to believe that admissions are kind of a crapshoot for out of state people.

Good luck!

I go to UNC and some of my undergrad courses are at the law school. I can confirm that anything below 180 is rejected, spit on, and laughed at. Good luck OP. Also, all out of state applications are piled together, ceremoniously lit on fire and peed on.

Btw my top choice for law school is Duke
