What's the reason for Georgetown's bad reputation?

Post by isuperserial » Thu Jan 03, 2013 7:18 pm

I'm simply curious. Just from some quick research, there is nothing that stands out as to why so many people would jab at it. Is it because it's the lower of the T14?

Basically, if you have a bad opinion of Georgetown, what is your reason for that?

Thanks!

Not so much of a bad opinion about the school itself, but rather its employment prospects, which are a result of 1) its insanely large class size and 2) competitiveness of the DC location. I've also heard that the student body is very PI focused (both on this site and from GULC students) so that could play a factor in their low biglaw numbers.
