How important are softs to a law school?
If you're the chair in several organizations including but not limited to, sororities, community service organizations, and political organizations, how much does that have an impact?
Would it be wiser just to focus on setting a high GPA and LSAT instead?
If you have a low GPA (3.3) and high LSAT (170) how much will softs impact acceptances?

General consensus is that unless you are an Olympian, Rhodes Scholar, Nobel Laureat, etc., softs will have little effect. GPA and LSAT are the primary factors.

If you are doing community service for it to look good on a law school application, you aren't doing it right. If you like community service, do it, but if you don't have the time management skills to balance it with school, cut back and focus on GPA and LSAT. Soft aren't going to compensate for a low GPA or LSAT, but shouldn't that good feeling you get from helping others be enough

GPA and LSAT. This is what gets your app looked at. If you don't make the minimum threshold for a school, then those softs are not going to make a difference. If you have great numbers for a school, or are a borderline candidate, then your softs may be used as a tiebreaker.
However, GPA and LSAT are most important, and then really work on your personal statement and getting good LORs. Everything else will not carry as much weight. You can use community service to make sure that you can fill one page for your resume though.
