I have 2 years of post UG WE. BA in Liberal Arts. During my 1st year out of college, I managed a busy clothing store, and made 30k a year. For the past year, I have worked at a social security law firm as a secretary. I set appointments and enter data, mostly. I also make 30k a year here. I live in TX where COL is low, have a roommate, and am single. Cant wait to make MOAR MONEY.

why do you wish to exclude those with more than 5 years work experience? someone working in IT with two years experience could be making more than someone working in a dead-end job with 10 years experience.

I'm making the same amount as I was 4 years ago, does that count?

A bit less than 30. Low opportunity cost ftw.

47% (36 people) of respondents so far are at below 40k. I think the poll needs more nuance between $0 and $40,000.

Cool. Thanks for taking the suggestion. It should split up that 4*% of <40k for sure.

I wasn't quite at $100k+, but I do qualify for one of the poll options that is close to it. Sometimes you just realize that you'd rather do something else for the rest of your life and money takes a backseat. Besides, I'm sure the $100k+ jobs that those people had will still be there if they strike out at OCI (at least I would hope so).

ETA: not going to T6. :(

^ You should get where I'm coming from! Didn't you quit your old job because your heart was in studying the law and had some type of job-security in taking over your father's practice?
