Top Law Schools

Hello,

I was wondering if any school would care if my two LOR's are rather similar. I have been working for two years at a prep company and have already asked one of my bosses there to write me an LOR and plan on asking my other boss to write the other one.
I am 3 years removed from graduating, so I do not think my old Professor's will remember much about me, nor do I think it would look good on my apps to have someone who hasn't talked to me in 3 years to vouch for me. Also, I have had some other jobs, but none for nearly as long as two years and I do not have as good of a relationship with my other old bosses than these two.

Is this really not a big deal at all? Any other areas of life I can look at for a good LOR (friends who've gone through law school? Relatives who are lawyers... though I know it's common wisdom to avoid relative LOR's).

I know most people say LOR's don't matter too much, but just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be taboo or hurt my chances. Thanks!

Is there any way you could ask the two bosses to focus on different aspects? Like, one writes mostly about your leadership skills, while the other raves about your sense of responsibility and the quality of your work?

I've read that adcomms don't really like to read repetitive, generic LORs. But in your case, similar LORs are probably a better bet than an old prof, and definitely better than a friend/relative.

Think it's fine. They say if you can't get professor letters, go with boss.

I used letters from two different bosses at two different companies. Not a big deal.

All right, I will probably just do it. The only alternative was my boss at an internship who think felt I did good work, but I was only there for 3 months and haven't spoken to her for 4, so it's not the same as someone who has known me for two years. Thanks for the input, I know GPA and LSAT are much bigger factors.
