LSDAS GPA question

I've found a few questions on this, but haven't really gotten a concise answer and I'm still a bit confused as to how the LSDAS GPA works.
I go to U of Washington and we work on a 4.0 scale. So, a 100% is a 4.0, a 90% is a 3.5, an 80% is a 3.0, etc. (Assuming that the professor doesn't decide to change this, it is the default for all classes).
How will this affect my LSDAS score, since it is based on a 4.33 GPA scale?
If I had a 4.0 GPA, is that really a 4.33 GPA according to the LSDAS GPA? Or is it still a 4.0 and I'm missing out on that .33??

A quick google says your school's system converts a 4.0/100% to an A, not an A+, so you're more than likely missing out on the 4.33. This would be a good thing to check with your school's career office, though.

So, what that means is that someone from Uni of X might report a 4.33 GPA while the highest I could report is a 4.0? Doesn't seem very fair. I thought it was converted so that all GPA scales would appear equal?

It's converted so everyone is equal except for this little oversight. They're not changing it, and there's nothing you can do. Just accept it and move on.

It's not fair. But the difference between a 4.0 and 4.33 should be negligible in terms of admissions, so suck it up and get all A's.
I feel your pain, I do, but that's how it is.
