Dual Degree verus Double Major

I saw in the sticky FAQ in this section that it doesn't really matter what you major in or if you double major. However, I thought law schools looked at the difficulty and progression of your program?
Has anyone had an experience where having two bachelors gave a boost during the admission process? I'm deciding whether I should convert to a duel degree (currently pursuing a double major only). It would cost around 20k more.
Thanks
Update: Received all the info I need on DUEL degrees. Only interested in DUAL degrees now

I can finally open it and I see that your choice of dueling games is....interesting. Yugioh is 6th grade stuff. At least go with MTG. Much more exciting.
Anyone actually have an answer though?

I'm not at all qualified to answer your question but bc of the title all you're likely to get is trolling anyway. So, unless you're double majoring in chemistry and nuclear engineering (or something equally hard) AND producing a lot of awesome research or something you're probably wasting your time. The only schools that care that much about "softs" like that are like HYS and they have their pick of people with dual degrees that are ALSO starting non-profits in Africa or whatever. If you're interested in it and can get a super high GPA, then by all means. if it's going to hurt your GPA at all you're probably wasting your time. I double majored and I highly doubt it helped me.

Alright, thanks. I'm double majoring in International Relations and Business Administration. I guess the dual degree would only help if I get a non-legal related job. I am worried about it hurting my GPA, but I dunno. I do better in the BA classes. Might actually help it

No one cares about your dual degree or major, and unless the other major is going to get you a good career (i.e. not law) it's not worth $20k.

Whatever you do, don't go to the Hamilton School Of Dueling. No one gets out of that deathtrap with a future or more than $10 to their name.
