Did you go out get drunk, read this thread, decide to join TLS to post this garbage?
garbage and not reading? really? then tell me which one is important to you? IF Finishing your degree is the most important thing in your life and someone offer you a good job opportunity?.... and if you are not happy studying and want to drop out but your parents wants you to finish your degree... and you value your parents so much... leaving something important is really hard... but still you need to have a choice....

I think it would depend on what you want to do with your JD. For example, I think it would be tough to crack biglaw with an online JD, you'd have to at least break median to have a chance. However, the most prestigious of online law schools will get your resume looked at by employers..................

But it depends on what you want to do, and which online law school you are looking at. Maybe a re-take is advisable here, re-apply next year and maybe get into one of the more prestigious online law schools with some $$.

Is this serious? And if so, do these even exist?

sry no it wasn't really a serious post. I have never heard of any online law schools that are respected tbh. I don't think that they should be considered for getting a JD unless you just want a JD for the hell of it and don't care about being employed as a lawyer etc.

Yes they exist. No, they are not accredited by the ABA. Yes, you would be an idiot to get a JD online, since the only state that doesn't require you to have gone to an ABA accredited school is California (and the bar in that state is notoriously difficult).

Ugh.
