Rec letter emergency!

I've applied to schools for this application cycle already and recently decided to apply to Yale. I've had a new rec letter written specifically for Yale, but am afraid it won't make it on time if the recommender sends it to the LSAC today (2-3 week lag time, right?). Is it acceptable to have the recommender send the letter directly to Yale?
Thanks in advance!

Fax it to LSAC.

Any idea on chances of it being processed by March 1? No chance that it would be acceptable to have it faxed directly to Yale? Yale says they "strongly prefer" resumes to come through LSAC processing...hm

I think Yale would appreciate you following their very clear directions to use LSAC.
The only time I faxed a LOR, it was processed and posted by the end of the day.

It is possible. I had one of mine processed and posted within a few days of them receiving it.

Thanks everyone! If anyone would be willing to send me or post the correct fax number for the LSAC, I would be eternally grateful. I want to make sure to give my recommender the correct number and I am concerned that I will somehow mess this up...

I would call and ask LSAC, but I believe 215-504-1444 has worked in past years.
