I was just accepted to DePaul today, and had a few questions in regards to scholarship money. I have not received the packet yet, but have heard that the stipulations they place on scholarships are pretty rough and that the school has been accused of section stacking.

First of all, how true is that? Also, is it possible to get those stipulations removed?

Congrats on DePaul, I was notified yesterday as well. I don't know the specifics, but I have heard the same as well. Without phenomenal numbers, I doubt you'll be able to negotiate them down too much.

You should definitely try. Worst they can say is no.

Has anyone had any success with negotiating scholarships?

I'm a current DePaul student and can tell you 100% that our sections are stacked. If you have any specific questions about the school I can prolly answer them.
