Once we apply to law school. How long does it usually take to get a response from law schools. Bad or good.

In the last cycle, I completed most of my applications in September and recieved most of my responses by the end of January.

Anywhere from days to months. Usually weeks to months. Some schools are notoriously slow, while a few schools are on hyperdrive (W&L gave me a decision within a week).

Check last year's admit/reject/waitlist threads for each school to see when people started getting decisions.

Cornell was very late in rendering decisions last cycle according to many posters. Some schools are looking for particular numbers or profiles & may make quick decisions on applications/applicants matching their needs/wants.

Didn't USC take freaking forever last year? Pretty sure I finally got my WL email while sitting in one of Northwestern's cool lecture halls at ASW in April.

About 3-4 months for most, though some EA decisions came back in December.
