When to submit applications? (December retake)

Post by mmk33 » Wed Oct 26, 2011 3:31 pm

I'm looking for advice. I got my results back from the Oct 2011 LSAT and they were not good: five points lower than my PT average. I have everything ready to go (transcripts, letters, essays), but I'm retaking the test in December because I know that I can do better than this. I'm applying to four schools only (staying in a particular geographical area) and my current LSAT score is above the 75th percentile for two of the schools, but will make me very marginal at the other schools. My plan is to retake in December and hold back all the materials til then, and then send everything to the four schools when the scores are released in mid-late december. Does anyone have advice to the contrary?

I plan on doing the same thing. Im sure sending in the application during January is fairly common. Good luck
