Will you receive acceptance letters via e-mail?
When filling out apps, they say to write your current address but what if I'm no longer going to be living here after December? Do schools only send acceptance letters via mail or will I still receive every letter to my e-mail as well??

Some by e-mail, some by mail, some by both. I'd suggest you forward your mail when you move.

Totally depends on the school. Some do acceptances by snail mail, some by email, some by phone. But pretty much all have an accepted student package that gets mailed out later.

This is why the mailing address field has a place where you specify how long the address will be good for. After that date, you need to have another address (parents, for most people).

Or you can check last year's threads for each school, find out which schools use snail mail, and make special arrangements with the school to not mail you anything. They will sometimes do this for people who will be overseas during the app cycle.

Thanks for the great info. WHere can I find the last year's threads? I'm new to this forum so am not sure where I can find those..

Most schools will have an applicants thread from last year here: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=7
You can also do a forum search for the school's name in topic names.
