Bar question

Hello there. First time poster. Many thanks for the information on here. Seriously amazing.

I am from PA. Suppose I went to school in a nearby state. Do out of state schools prepare you for their state's bar, or do they prepare you in a general sense so that you will fare well on any states bar? Or does this vary by school?

I'm from the South, but I know my schools I've been looking at have lists of what states they qualify you to sit the bar in. I think I found it in the catalogue...

You can sit for any bar exam from any ABA accredited school.

A few (generally poor quality) schools focus on bar prep. Most don't. You learn what you need in bar prep class the summer after law school.
