BU Early Decision

Has anyone heard anything about what BU is looking for in their ED candidates other than what is posted on the website?
I am hoping to apply with a GPA above their 25th% and an LSAT way above their 75%.
Do you think that (i.e.) a 3.6 and a 171+ would make me an eligable candidate for BU ED?
**I am well aware that those numbers could easily gain admission to better ranked schools, but those schools won't give you full tuition for them; and, I was raised in Boston and would like to return**
Any opinions would be great.

I'm guessing they will be looking for similar numbers to GW which if I recall was like 3.8, 168ish normally.
I feel like you will be competitive if you are at 3.6, 171 but that's a shot in the dark.
Even if you don't get in ED though you will draw a scholarship offer there with those numbers if they convert you to RD.

Here is some information on it:

Anyone with 120k+ probably has a full ride. As a rule of thumb, you'll want to be above both 50s and ideally above one or both 75s.

I got WUSTL ED with 167/3.57. Not sure if this helps but thought I'd throw it out there

With a 171, I'd probably take a shot at Northwestern ED instead.

3.6 168 for me. Very debt averse and BU with a full ride seems like a great option.

Yeah, like you said you can draw acceptances from the t14 with these numbers. If you need some financial support then ED to Northwestern would be a good call.

I'm a puny 0L so I won't go too far into it, and though I assume anyone looking at BU would also be considering BC, I think it's worth mentioning that you really should. BU admissions is a bit more competitive than BC, but from all that I've seen BC employment prospects are better.

Though, and this is just what I've heard, BC is more Boston-focused. If you plan on working in Boston, it seems like BC is by far the way to go, but if you're not dead set on Boston, BU might be a better choice. Again, this is what I've heard - don't have any sources on this last bit, but the employment figures for BC in general are better, and it is less competitive to get into.
