I have run a few searches but I've come up empty.

Is there a specific formula that Duke uses for their PT invites?

They only care if you are a champion or not.

If by PT you mean Part-Time, Duke does not have a PT JG program.

He means priority track program. Priority track invitees get their apps considered within 15 days of signing up for the program. I suspect a 170+ LSAT has something to do with it. I got invited with a 170 and my buddy with a 168 has never mentioned that he was invited (I think he would tell me if he got in).

I think there's a GPA cut off, too. I didn't get invited with a 3.3/171.

From what I hear, it's gotta be around 3.55 170

Fwiw. I didn't get the invite with 3.74/ 170. Perhaps they know of my longstanding hate of their basketball team. They did give me an unannounced fee waiver though.

When was your 170 / when did you create your LSAC account?

I got one with a 171/3.53. I think its more or less a 170+ and 3.50+ but some borderline people don't seem to get them, for whatever reason.

Didn't get one with a 169/3.94. Thinking a 170 is definitely the magic number.

I don't know if 170 is the cutoff... FWIW, my friend got one with a 169.

Interesting, considering I have pretty much as good of a GPA as you can get. Maybe they account for other factors, but I'm not sure what those could be since they only have our LSAC profiles. Maybe URM status?

Not sure. I don't know their GPA, but they go to a state school and they're a non-URM minority.

170/3.98 here, no PT invite. But I applied almost immediately after I received my October LSAT score, so perhaps they didn't bother with me because they had already received my RD application by the time they sent out the invites.

I'm confused about the PT. If you just Google Duke PT, this site comes up:

http://www.law.duke.edu/prioritytrack/

I was puzzled by this because I don't remember seeing anything about PT in my fee waiver e-mail, so I went on my friend's computer (he's not even applying to law school) and he can also get on this site. Can you submit your information and just apply to get PT status? I feel like the answer has to be no lol, but that website just threw me through a loop.

Any help would be great, thanks guys.
