I want to move and get an apartment in the city of the school I plan on attending as soon as possible... How long does it take for financial aid to clear...
Should say on the award letter/online when fall aid disbursement happens; probably like four or five days before school starts. You may be able to talk to financial aid and tell them your predicament and get a professional judgement (where they adjust things in your file) to get the money to you, via direct deposit, a little bit earlier.
My government loans say that disbursement happens Aug. 12th but the school says Aug. 17th...so who knows.
