Is my personal statement too similar to a diversity statement.... If I plan on writing about my experience representing the home country of my parents in the junior olympics and how certain situations encouraged me to stick to my morals and affirmed my goal to pursue law... Does that relate too directly to a diversity statement... Because I plan on submitting one of those as well..

Tough call based on how little information you provided. It depends on the language you use when you write it.
