Yeah, I've looked through every relevant thread on there. There is very little on the crunchtime series, and nothing at all on the Law in a Flash series (and definitely nothing comparing them). I figure that with what I have so far I have a pretty good basis for each class, but it sounds like crunchtime/flash are a nice exam prep tool, and I'm trying out which of the two (or anything else) that would be a valuable addition for 1L. Here is my list of supplements so far, if anyone has any constructive advice on what to add to it (I'll be going to Emory by the way, if anyone has any school/prof specific advice).
Civ Pro: Glannon E&E, Freer's Civil Procedure
Torts: Glannon E&E, Prosser and Keeton on Torts
Property: Burke/Snoe E&E, Gilbert Law Summaries Property (Krier)
Con Law: May/Ides E&E (Both Individual Rights and National Power and Federalism), Chemerinsky Principles and Policies
Contracts: Blum E&E, Chirelstein Contracts
Any constructive advice besides "search is your friend" would be appreciated

Hold off - the E&Es should be plenty, but if you can't, crunchtime.

Do you think the Flash/Crunchtime become redundant after what I already have? I was kind of under the impression they serve a different purpose.

I used civ pro, crim and con law. Civ pro was excellent and I would highly recommend it. Crim pro and con law were pretty marginal, you're better off with Dressler and Chemerinsky.

By purchasing supplements to go with my casebooks for 1L year? lulz. I guess 90% of law students are gunning the wrong way then
Lulz all you want.
Its aug 4 and you have 11 supplements so far and are asking which others you should get. Let alone the fact that the standard advice on here is wait to see what your prof says.

I recommend the Nutshell series. I did wonders for Corporate Finance, Evidence, and Secured Transactions. The Acing series did wonders for Income Taxation and Business Enterprises.

I purchased the E&E's because it seems to be pretty standard advice to pick them up across the forum. Basically every non-E&E supplement I picked up was recommended to me by Emory 2L's, including the Law in a Flash series I'm asking about -- Chemerinsky, Chirelstein, Gilbert's Property, and Freer's CivPro were each recommended to me by multiple Emory 2L's . So no I'm not just shooting in the dark here, I'm just trying to get an opinion on what people's experiences have been with Crunchtime and Flash, and I even specifically mentioned my school to make sure people were aware of where I'm coming from. I'm not trying to be a super-gunner, I just wanted to try to get as many of the supplements as I'll need ahead of time so I can worry about other stuff once school starts.
You sound like a clone of me from a year ago. I also looked around for the standard advice and hoarded up all the supplements I thought I would need before school even started. And what did I learn? That I had gone overboard, and should have waited.
First of all, law school is too time-consuming to allow you to mess around with multiple supplements for each class. I had like 2 or 3 for every single class. This was a dumb idea because there just isn't enough time. Second, some professors go against the grain, so what would normally be a great supplement might not be so great for that professor. For example, I thought the contracts crunchtime would be great, but my professor ended up hating black letter law. I had the Calamari and Perillo hornbook for contracts, yet my professor said he agreed much more with the Farnsworth hornbook.
As much as you want to buy the "standards" that apply across the board, such things honestly don't exist (perhaps the Torts E&E is an exception, but beyond that, you should be waiting until school starts). Sure, the crunchtime books are condensed black letter outlines with some good practice Q's attached, but if your professor recommends you approach the material another way, then the book becomes useless.
To be honest, the majority of my supplement purchasing spree was a waste of money. You will barely even leaf through a number of the supplements you are purchasing. Make sure you are buying older editions and only spending a few bucks on each thing.
