When attending Law School do most students have Jobs while attending? Are Law School classes at all times throughout the day similar to undergrad or are they in the evening/night time? Also do students live on campus, is that even possible?

Yes. Evening/night time would be for part time programs.

so most students do not have jobs, I did not think so because it seems just going to Law School is your job

and I am glad to hear students do live on campus, I always feel I do better living on a campus with other students

Most full-time law students do not work. Some do, but the ABA limits students to working a max of 20 hours per week while a full-time law student, and some schools may have an even lower limit.

Some schools have part-time/evening law programs, but only a few (Georgetown, Fordham...that's about it) are reputable enough to really consider attending unless you have a guaranteed job lined up for after graduation. You can work full-time while attending law school part-time, but be warned that the PT law curriculum is only about 1 class at a time less than FT, so you will likely not have a life. It takes 4 years vs. 3. Part-time students are at a disadvantage because they often can't participate in things considered fairly essential to getting a job after school, either because they're not allowed, or because they just don't have the time.

Some law schools have on-campus housing. Some do not. From what I gather, most law students are adult enough that they're ready to not live in dorms anymore. (You could not PAY me enough to live in a dorm again.)

And yes I know I wouldn't want to live in a dorm either , I was wondering more so if there were on campus apartments or upperclassmen living, a plain old dorm room would not cut it in law school!

From what I can tell, the law school offers campus apartments NOT dorm rooms.

The Lawyer's Club at MLaw. This is where half of 1Ls at M live. And where I'll be living in about a month.

GWU also has law student housing, I believe.

Regents is not on-campus housing. It's a private apartment complex about 2 miles from the law school. It's just on a convenient bus route and very popular among 1Ls. UChicago does offer on-campus housing, which has mixed reviews.

For a second I thought that was Cornell. Either way, after the first couple months, you ain't gonna be seein' clear skies or grass!

I think i'm going to be working during my 2L year. 1l year it's almost unheard of. 2L year it seems a decent number of people do it - but, I'm hesitant. Might be too much.

Regents is not on campus, it is a private apartment building about 1.5 miles from school. (Edit: Duckmonkey beat me to it)

OP, the ABA prohibits you from working more than 20 hours per week during 1L, and working any job while going through 1L in a full time program would be pretty ill-advised.

If I got a BigLaw summer gig (ha!) I wouldn't work 2L year. Otherwise...yeah I'm going to start talking to students about it.

Oh woops, you're right. I read the OP as housing provided by the university, my bad.

The housing is great, but nothing compared to the singing and dancing you'll have in LS.

I'm interested in this as well. Especially for schools that have nearly a month off.

It's conceivable to work over winter break if you could find a job that would allow you to work for only a month. But I don't know anybody who did. After 1l semester people just wanted to relax.

I know a few people who went back to old jobs that they had before law school, like food service or retail jobs mostly. However, most people just relaxed and took the time to reconnect with family and non law school friends.
